ORDER OF SALE.
In pursuance of an order issued from the Court of Common
Pleas within and for the County of Highland and State of
Ohio, made at the April term thereof A. D. 1886, and to me
directed, I will offer for sale at public auction at the
door of the Court House, in the town of Hillsboro, on
Saturday, June 5th, A. D. 1886,
At two o'clock p.m. of said day, the following
described real estate, to-wit:
In-lot No. seven (7) in the town of Danville, as known
and designated on the recorded plat of said town of
Danville, Highland County, Ohio.
Said premises has been appraised at two hundred and
seventy-five ($275) dollars, and can not sell for less than
two-third of said appraisement.

A. D. 1886, and to me directed, I will offer for sale at
public auction at the door of the Court-House, in the town
of Hillsboro, on
Saturday, June 26th, A. D. 1886,
at one o'clock p. m. of said day the following described
real estate, to-wit:
Situate in Highland county and State of Ohio, a certain
tract of land containing 35 acres more or less and described
as follows: On the waters of the Rocky Fork of
Paint creek, beginning at a stone in the West Union road and
s. e. corner of this tract; thence running with said road N.
1° E. 43 poles to a stone;
thence N. 18° W. 40 poles to a stone in the west side of
said road and corner to John A. Patterson; thence
with his line S. 64°, W. 100 poles to a stone near a branch,
another corner to said Patterson's line; thence with said
Gibler's line S. 82° E. 108 poles to the beginning, being
the same land conveyed by Samuel Gibler and wife to
William Gibler on the 8th of April 1874.
Said premises has been appraised at one thousand and
fifty ($1050) dollars, and can not sell for less than
two-thirds of said appraisement.

Common Pleas within and for the county of Highland and State
of Ohio, made at the April term thereof A. D. 1886, and in
me directed, I will offer for sale at Public auction at the
door of the Court House, in the town of Hillsboro, on
Saturday, June 5th, A. D. 1886,
At 1 o'clock p.m. of said day, the following described
real estate, to-wit:
Situate in Highland county and State of Ohio, and
described as follows: Beginning at a stone in the
center of the Pierson Mill free turnpike road the s. e.
corner of the tract lately conveyed by Wm. McDaniel
to Marion Britton; running thence with the east line
of said tract and another free turnpike road N. 1¼
E. 13 36-100 poles to a stone, the s. w. corner of Samuel
Sharp's tract, bought of said McDaniel; thence
with a line thereof S. 89° E. 67 poles, crossing Turtle
creek, to a stone corner of said tract in a line of said
Sharp's home farm; running thence with said line down
said creek S. 22° W. 2 poles S. 77¼° W. 51 1/8 poles to a
stone in said creek below the mill and corner to Sharp's
thence S. 22½° W. 2 poles to a point in said creek and a
corner to Sharps; thence N. 65° W. 10½ poles to a
line touching the southern extremity of the western abutment
of the bridge across said creek to the beginning containing
four acres more or less.

LEGAL NOTICE.
RICHARD WISE, whose residence is unknown, will take
notice that on the 24th day of April, A. D. 1886, The First
National Bank of Hillsborough, Ohio, a corporation duly
incorporated under the laws of the United States, filed its
petition against him in the Common Pleas Court of Highland
county, Ohio, in case No. 4325, said petition containing two
causes of action, the first of which is founded upon a
promissory note executed and delivered by said Richard
Wise to one William H. Busey or order, and by him
sold and conveyed to the said First National Bank of
Hillsborough, Ohio, dated Jan. 2d, 1885, and calling for
$122. 60, due six months after date, with interest from
maturity until paid, and the second cause of action being
founded upon a promissory note executed and delivered by
said Richard Wise to one Ewing Newby or order,
and by him sold and conveyed to the said First National
Bank, dated Jan. 9th, 1886, and calling for $15.30 with 8
per cent, from date.
Petition further recites that there is due from said
Richard Wise to said First National Bank of
Hillsborough, Ohio, on both causes of action the sum of
$137.90, with inters on $122.60 thereof from the 2d day of
July, A. D. 1885, at 6 per cent., and interest on $15.30
thereof from Jan. 9th, A. D. 1885, at eight per cent, for
which amount the said First National Bank asks judgment and
for costs of suit.
Richard Wise will also take notice that on the
24th of April, 1886, the said First National Bank filed an
affidavit in said cause, stating that the claim in said
action is founded upon two promissory notes made by said
Richard Wise and calling for $122.60 and $15,30
respectively, and dated Jan. 2d, 1885, and Jan. 9th, 1885,
respectively, due six and four months after date,
respectively executed and delivered to and assigned by
William H. Busey and Ewing Newby respectively to
the said First National Bank, the $122.60 note bearing 6 per
cent, interest from July 2d, 1885 and the $15.30 note
bearing interest at 8 per cent from Jan. 9th, 1885, and that
said claim is just and that said Richard Wise is a
non-resident of the State.
And said Richard Wise will further notice that
on the 19th day of May, 1886, an order of attachment was
issued in said case, directed to the Sheriff of Highland
county, Ohio, and that by him on the same day the following
property was attached, viz.: Fifty acres of land off
of the south end of the land formerly owned by
Christopher Wise, now deceased, subject to the life
estate of Sarah A. Wise, the widow of the said
Christopher Wise, or that portion of the life estate of
said Sarah A. Wise, that she shall remain the widow
of said Christopher Wise. Said interest being
in said Richard Wise, and situate in the county of
Highland, and State of Ohio.
Said property appraised at $709, subject to life estate
as aforesaid.
Said Richard Wise is required to answer said
petition on or before the 31st day of july, or judgment will
be taken against him by default.

EMILY FENNER, of Barrett, Marshal county, Kansas, will
take notice that S. J. Richards did on the eighth day of
May, A. D. 1886, file his petition in the Court of Common
Pleas, of Highland county, Ohio, asking judgment against
said Emily Fenner for the sum of seventy-dollars and
thirty-five cents, and interest form April 24th, 1886, on an
account for medical attendance and medicines administered,
delivered, found and provided her, at her request.
That there was issued in said action an order of attachment
