OHIO NEWS:
     G. M. Chumasero
, a druggist, died in Republic, Seneca County, a few days ago, from taking twenty grains of opium.  He took it to frighten his wife into obeying him, but rather overdid the thing.  The little game had been successfully played twice before, but a miscalculation married the effectiveness on the third occasion.

TIFFIN, O., May 6, - Mrs. Catherine Pittenger, widow of John Pittenger, died yesterday.  She was eighty-four years old and left four children.  Mrs. Pittenger was a pioneer resident of Seneca county.
