RISINGER, Abel, died at his home south of Eaton, January 6, 1851, age 43 years 2 months 17 days.
ROGERS, Severn, died at Camden of cholera, shoemaker.  Died in July, had a son Daniel Webster who was born in July and raised by his wife's parents, the Fornshall's.  He died before 1891 and is buried at Woodland.  Three other children went to County Home.  William L. went to Uncle Philip Hayward in Wisconsin; Marietta; Sara, found by Mrs. Dr. P. Hayward of Anderson, Indiana, grandmother on father's side.  Bound to half uncle B. L. Hayward.  Went to Missouri in 1858.  She went to Savannah, Illinois, then Montgomery County, Iowa and worked for James Whitney.  In 1861 went to Quincy at age 17 to 'interset, to Des Moines and married Milton T. Cracraft in 1870, had 2 boys and 2 girls.  Had a cousin Isaac Rogers, now in Nebraska.  In 1891 found her mother in Montgomery County, Ohio poor house after a separation of 43 years.  Mother was 75.  Had married first at 16 to William Davis and had a daughter now dead; married second to Rogers; married third J. W. Beach who died before 1891.

VOORHEES, Catharine, Mrs., died at her home, June 24, 1851, consort of Luke Voorhees, age 76, buried Weatville.
VOORHEES, Luke, died September 3, 1850 at the home of his son in Lanier township, age 87 yers 8 months.  Lived in the neighborhood since 1814.  Native of New Jersey; after Revolution his father emigrated to Virginia for a short time, then to Kentucky, at 18 Luke joined the Kentucky Volunteers under Capt. Adair and was called to protect Ft. St. Clair after St. St. Clair, November 6, 1792, between Little Turtle and 250 Indians and about 100 Kentudky riflemen under Capt. Adair and in it Mr. Voorhees received a severe wound in the shoulder.  He was with Gen. George E. Clarke in his expeditions to Vincinnes and against the Wabash Indians.  About 1803 he left Kentucky and settled in Warren County until he moved to Preble.  Buried in Wheatville cemetery, Lanier township.
