BEALLSVILLE, a small post town, in Sunbury
township, Monroe county, 10 miles northeast from Woodsfield. It is
situated on an elevated spot, in the midst of a well improved country,
and has one church, two stores, two taverns, one physician, and 16
dwelling houses. At the census of 1830, it contained 50
inhabitants; its present population is estimated at 100. |
