OHIO VOLUNTEER INFANTRY.
The organization
of this regiment was not completed. The company to which
the following named Preble county soldiers belonged (Captain
George Wightman's), was transferred to the Sixty-third Ohio
infantry soon after enrollment, and mustered into the service
"in the field, in Kentucky,: September 13, 1862:
