SANDUSKY, Oct. 30. An affray occurred between
Capt. Alonzo D. Ladd and the cook of the Exchange Hotel,
today. The latter stabbed Ladd, is feared mortally.

Date: Mar. 28, 1855
FRANCIS OTTO, a
soldier of the American Revolution, died in Huron, Erie county,
Ohio, on the 4th inst., at the age of ninety-nine years.
Mr. Otto was a German by birth, came to this country
before the war of the revolution, embarked in the cause, and
fought through the terrible contest under the command of Gen.
Washington.

Kate Robert, about fourteen years old, was recently
missed from her house in Sandusky. Two days after her body
was found in the bay, How she lost her life is not known. |

COUPLE SPENDING THEIR HONEYMOON IN PRISON
SANDUSKY, Ohio, Sept. 1 - Married here yesterday, arrested
last night and bound over to the grand jury today to await a
hearing on charges of perjury in swearing falsely as to her age
in obtaining a marriage license. That is the 24 hour story
of Mary Storck, formerly Mary Mischky, and her new
husband George Storck. Unable to obtain bail, they
are now spending their honeymoon in the county jail, where they
may have to remain until the grand jury convenes on Sept. 13.
Otto Mischky, the girls father filed the affidavits.

SANDUSKY, Ohio. Jan. 25 - After a week's practice Ellsworth
McCURE, 15 and Violet MONTECUE, 16, eloped on a
bicycle, a girl riding the handle bars. The love-bike
skidded and pursuers overtook them. |
