DEATH OF MRS. S. W. BARTGES'S FATHER.

The Millersburg Farmer has the following about the father of Mrs. S. W. Bartges, of this city:  "On Friday evening of last week that old veteran Democrat, Alfred CRUMP, while passing from one room to another was so unfortunate as to fall down fracturing the thigh bone where it enters the socket of the right thigh.  He departed this life at his residence in Millersburg, Tuesday morning, Sept. 8th, in the 92d year of his age.  Alfred CRUMP was born in Fairfax County, Virginia, March 3, 1794, and consequently is now in his 92d year.  He went to Baltimore when twelve years of age, and from there to Taneytown, Maryland, in 1819; afterwards, in 1822, going to West Virginia.  In 1832 he located on a farm in Columbiana County, Ohio, and in 1845 went to Delaware, Ohio, and in 1845 went to Delaware, Ohio, where he kept a hotel.  From there he went to Wooster, and located in Millersburg in 1849, where he has resided ever since.  Mr. CRUMP was a soldier of the war of 1812, and the only survivor of that war in this section.  He was a thorough Democrat and always voted the straight ticket without a scratch.  He cast his first vote for President in 1816, and has never missed a Presidential election since.
