BLACK HISTORY

BLACK HISTORY

Check out the Peoria Journal Star dated Monday, February 4, 2019
for the Start of their series on Black History
Monday shows how, without the blacks, the Civil War could not have won the South.
Very very interesting.
Lots of them were buried at Mound City National Cemetery in Southern Illinois
as lots of the sick and the wounded were brought to the Hospital there
by Ships that got there by way of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers.
