site updated every day. I do need a little help from my viewers.
I keep track of what everyone is looking at and try to keep up with it. If I see someone is looking at Adams County, I try to update it ASAP If I see someone is looking at Sandusky County, I try to update it ASAP. Please do me a favor and sign my guestbook

2012 NEWS UPDATE
Hi all..
Can you believe
it? Its MAY 17th!!!
I am in Peoria, Illinois visiting family.
Will be going to the Library on Saturday, May 19th, 2012
and looking to gather more info for all of you to view.
Hubby is home
holding down the 'fort'. :-)
I have still been working on the 1940 Census with the L. D. S.
Not all of them will be available right away but gradually
they will all be out for us to view.
I can hardly wait!
Unfortunately Ohio won't be among the first ones but be
patient, it will come.
I will keep you updated.

As usual the same places that charge for viewing, will still
be charging.
Doesn't seem fair does it.
My website will ALWAYS be free as long as I can keep it
online. I will assist in research as long as it is within my
means. But not if it will cost me money.
That is only fair as I don't charge for this website.
I am still trying to get more biographical indexes

I have a new person maintaining Allen
County, Ohio.
She has put a lot online for your viewing.
Her name is Linda Blue Dietz
and she needs your prayers as her health may be at risk.
Lots of Prayers, please.
She is a very dedicated transcriber and she deserves praise
for what she is doing in the genealogy world.
I feel blessed to have her aboard.
Also need prayers for my kitty.
She is my sidekick when I am transcribing.
She loves to sit on a footstool next to me while I am on the
computer.
She follows me all around the house and even sleeps with me
most of the time.
She hasn't been eating much and what she does eat, she
cannot hold down.
She went to the vet yesterday and you know what that meant,
$$$$$
She is worth it. She is 11 years old now.
I got Miss Kitty's Test results. My sweet cat has
Lymphoma.
She is taking steroids to prolong her good health for a
little longer.
For all you cat lovers, I will keep you posted.
Hubby's dog, MAX, needs a little spiritual
help also.
He has bad legs.
Jim and I are hanging in there and with
that, I will be transcribing as much as I can.
In the meantime I am making an afghan for a deer friend in
Germany.
Linda is in a quilting group in her spare time.
Oh and the Harley will be running soon, I hope, and I just
might take a few spins on it. :-)
I keep finding new material for OGE that I have been trying to get
online.

As I mentioned
previously, I have added a New Feature to this
website. You can see what I do every day in the way of Additions to
the pages. I know I have it listed on theUPDATES PAGE but now I have a
CALENDAR so that you can
see day by day what is added. You can keep your
eye on me!.... hahahahhaha
This will help me make sure there is something on each day
better. The Calendar is now for 2012 however, you can
click on the link to the 2010 or 2011 calendar to see what I have
done, by the day, since August, 2010

swallowtail design is properly called, was designed by JohnEisemann.
The large blue triangle represents Ohio's hills and valleys, and the
stripes represent the original states of the union; the 4 stars added to
the peak of the triangle symbolize that Ohio was the 17th state admitted
to the union. The white circle with its red center not only
represents the "O" in Ohio, but also suggests Ohio's famous nickname, "The
